Pricing: usually is a basic sq foot price plus extras. Extras might include mantels, crown molding, chair rails, shadow boxing, stair systems like open handrails and pickets, etc.
Hourly rates might apply if the homeowner is living in the home, due to extra time to move furniture and rearrange scheduling due to events and family considerations.

Replacing doors: be aware that there are doors that are half the cost which are just as functional and attractive.
